La Llama shop

Here’s a project I’ve been working on—a diorama of my empanada shop, La Llama! 🔥
It’s set in the high plains of the Andean Cordillera, following the story of a cholita selling empanadas to passing travelers.

"In their open kitchen, empanadas slowly turn golden in the oven, ready to be served to weary travelers.
'Why La Llama?' asks a curious customer.
Kusi smiles: ‘Llama means both the flame of the oven and the llama of the mountains. Here, we warm hearts as much as we do our dishes!’
The customer nods with a smile as the scent of golden corn and spices fills the air."

I’ve learned so much throughout this project, from new workflows to the importance of dioramas, thanks to Elodie Mondoloni. I also developed the characters by building from an environment-first approach with Jérémy Vitry.
A huge thank you to both for their insights and guidance!
